With the warmer temperatures yesterday, the City of Ottawa got back to work plowing streets in town. They worked the north and south streets on both sides of town and will continue tackling the east west streets today. Their goal is to have all the streets passed over at least once before the day is out. They do ask for your patience as the work to remove the snow and the thick layer of ice underneath. They ask that all vehicles be move off the roads to make it easier for the equipment to pass through.
They do appreciate everyone’s patience as they have worked long hours the past two weeks following the snow storm that left a layer of ice and up to 12 inches of snow across the city.
