He says Cochran is dedicated to fostering an agency grounded in faith, respect, collaboration, and strong community partnerships. His commitment ensures that the sheriffs office moved forward with purpose and focus on service to all.
They also remind people in Anderson County that they can text 911 if you are unable to make a voice call. Text to 911 allows you to send a message directly to emergency call takers, providing a vital alternative when a voice call isn’t possible. However, officials reminded everyone that voice calls give dispatchers more information and are the preferred method for reaching 911 during an emergency and ensure you get the help you need quickly.
