Recently, the Senate Republican Conference ratified Kansas U. S. Senator Jerry Moran as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Moran says he is looking forward to working on behalf of the brave men and women who have served in our Nation’s armed forces, as well as their families, caregivers and survivors. He added that he also looks forward to working with President Trump to provide veterans with timely, convenient and high-quality health care and benefits. We will also hold the VA accountable and work to empower veterans so they can achieve success after service.
Sen. Moran has worked throughout his time in Congress to improve the quality of life for the nearly 250,000 veterans living in Kansas. He has served on both the House and Senate Committees on Veterans’ Affairs and served as both ranking member and chairman of the committee.
