Imagine…a child is unable to enjoy one of the simple joys of being a kid. Why? They don’t have the right shoes. When budgets are tight, many families can’t afford new shoes, but new shoes can transform their world in ways you can’t even imagine.
According to AdventHealth Ottawa, new shoes can bring a child dignity, joy, and confidence, allowing them to step into their lives with pride. AdventHealth Ottawa is partnering with Shoes That Fit to ensure that all elementary students in Franklin County, who are on the free and reduced lunch program, receive brand new shoes and socks.
The date for the big shoe fit is set for February 7th.
