The Franklin County Planning Commission has put on hold, at least for a few weeks, the planned construction of a commercial solar energy farm at 3800 Montana Road. After a lengthy presentation, a number of complaints were aired by the public, which filled the room at the Franklin County Annex. Economist Levi Russell warned against the intermittent nature of solar power:
The Planning Commission will study the matter further at a Study Session and then reconsider the project at a future Planning Commission meeting.
