If a proposed solar farm at 3800 Montana Road goes through, it may benefit some local areas. Owner Jason Edwards says most of the electricity will be consumed by his own operations, but there will be some surplus.
Edwards says Ottawa may be able to take advantage of some surplus power. The solar farm is under scrutiny by the Franklin County Planning Commission.
