
The City of Ottawa has hired a new Assistant Golf Professional for the golf course and he will be a family name and face to many people. Ottawa High School graduate and former OU Golf Team member, Trey Bones will take the position. After graduating with a degree in sports studies, Bones interned as an Assistant Golf Professional at Wolf Creek Golf Club, where he was responsible for assisting in the scheduling and operations of tournaments, managing sales and inventory, and working closely with golf professionals to ensure an excellent experience for club members and guests. Now, as part of the team at the City of Ottawa Golf Course, Trey is eager to bring his passion for the game and his professional skills to help elevate the golfing experience for members and visitors.
Bones says he is excited for the opportunity to give back to the community and course that has given so much to him, and looks forward to enhancing the golf experience and growing the game locally. Trey adds he is dedicated to ensuring a positive and rewarding experience at the course while furthering his knowledge of the golf industry.
