The Osage County Sheriff’s office has announced that it will be changing its policy on in-person visitations at the local jail in 2025. The Sheriff’s office says that starting on January 1st, in-person visitation will no longer be permitted at the jail. Visitations will transition to video-only sessions. Video-only visitation sessions will be between 8:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon seven days a week.

Those wishing to schedule a visit should set up an account by following the link on the Osage County Kansas Sheriff’s Office facebook page. The link is also posted on the KOFO facebook page. The sheriff’s office also says you can download the inmate sales by combined public communication apps from the google play store or apple app store. No reason was given for ending in person visits to inmates at the jail facility
