Franklin County is looking to upgrade their road graders. Right now, the County has the smallest class of graders, known as 120’s. Caterpillar Representative Matt Shuster told the commission that the next class up, known as 140’s might be more expensive, but last longer, due to a larger transmission, plus, the trade in value based on hours used is higher:
Schuster will get with Public Works Director Jeff Welting and go over each of the counties graders and hours used, come up with a plan and report back to the commission soon.
