The Ottawa City Commission heard discussion of over two dozen strategic documents to ensure departmental goals and initiatives which align with the city’s cohesive plan. City Manager Brian Silcott talked about the most important and difficult part of the process:
The process is important in planning the budget for not only next year but for budgets in the future, in figuring out how to pay for each project. The commission will hear more about these plans in future meetings as the budget process moves forward.
