A big event today, February 7th, for AdventHealth Ottawa, but it might mean more to Wellsville Elementary. It’s Shoe Give Away Day! Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth Ottawa, Doug Rich:
AdventHealth has partnered with Shoes That Fit to provide a pair of name-brand athletic shoes to elementary school children on the free or reduced lunch program in Franklin County, which impacts about 50% of students in the district. Shoes That Fit will be providing shoes to more than 1,500 students at seven elementary schools across Franklin County. KC Royals mascot Slugger will be on hand at the event.
