The sale of the former Crestview Property was held Tuesday morning, February 11th. Two people made bids on the property. The high bid was $227,000, made by Aaron Thakker on behalf of A-Tec services.
A-Tec services provides commercial and residential general contractor and electrical services. However, I spoke with Thakker yesterday,February 12th, and he says says he would like to remodel the building and offer transitional housing for families and individuals that have been homeless. He is excited to talk with the Blessing Box Foundation and the Franklin County Coalition to End Homelessness, and work with the City of Ottawa to make it happen.
