The Miami County law enforcement agencies are doing what they can do to help the Miami County Cancer Foundation. From now through February 21st, all law enforcement are having a “Boost Drive”. Boost is the nutritional drink that many cancer patients need. The Boost meal replacement drive will benefit all Miami County cancer patients. They are asking all citizens to donate any flavor of the Boost brand drinks. You can deliver them to any Miami county law enforcement office. The Spring Hill, Louisburg, Paola, and Osawatomie Police departments, as well as the Miami County Sheriff’s office.

The Miami County Cancer Foundation’s goal is to encourage and provide services to cancer patients and their families, to help reduce the suffering of cancer. They link those with cancer to available resources all the way from gas cards, grocery cards, medical equipment to the Boost nutrition shakes and much more.

If you would like to donate anything at all, visit their web site…”miamicountycancerfoundation.org”. Or, if you would like to volunteer, you can find out more about them. They meet the third Monday of every month at 5:30 at the American Legion building in Paola. The next meeting coming up Monday, February 17th.
