Law enforcement officers continue to search for 38-year-old Jordan Yust, who has not been seen since Monday, March 3rd, and previously made statements about harming himself. Yust’s vehicle was found Tuesday, March 4th, along northbound US highway 69 near exit 247 in Miami County, but his whereabouts are still unknown, according to a news release from the Olathe Police Department. Members of the Miami County Sheriff’s office are working with the Olathe Police Department to locate him.

The Miami County Sheriff’s office posted on its facebook page Wednesday night, March 5th, that they are following leads on possible sightings and searching properties. Yust is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has a brown beard, bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green Columbia coat and blue jeans. He was last seen driving a silver Honda Odyssey with a Kansas license plate “056RRA” leaving the area of the 14100 block of W. 141st Place on Monday, at about 11:00 that morning. He is listed as endangered due to statements of self-harm.
