
A bill in the Kansas Legislature could open up fireworks sale year round in Kansas. The Kansas House Commerce, Labor, and Economic Development Committee heard a variety of opinions on the issue during a hearing Wednesday afternoon. Some in attendance say the bill could be beneficial for small businesses, but others say more sales will bring in more firework-related injuries.
