Franklin County Public Works crews are battling potholes just like motorists that travel the roadways, and Director Jeff Welton admits…there are a lot of them. He asks for patience as the weather warms up:
He adds that three things are needed to completely patch a pothole: Heat— which is starting to happen, rock— which they have plenty of, and compaction–which happens when vehicles travel the roads.
