The Ottawa Kansas Farmers Market announced Friday, March 21st, that they will be moving their Wednesday market to Downtown Ottawa at Legacy Square. Ottawa Chamber of Commerce President, Ryland Miller, says the market will see new elements added, such as an EBT program and allowing credit card processing on site throughout the season. A huge variety of vendors will be on hand to sell everything from fresh produce to potted plants to locally raised honey, fresh flowers, locally sourced meats and much more.

The first market to be held in Legacy Square will be on May 7th from 4:00 to 6:00. The Saturday morning market will still be at the Tractor Supply parking lot. They have also announced that there will be three Kids Farmers Markets this year. If you have a child who wants to display their goods and products those will be June 14th, July 12 and August 9th.

If you are interested in being a vendor at the farmers market, there is a meeting with more information on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6:00 at the Franklin County Annex meeting room.
