
Ottawa and the surrounding area has seen a lot of windy days and nights recently and with that, a lot of tree limbs that have been blown down. As people stack the limbs out by the street, many are wondering…is the city of Ottawa going to do a limb pickup soon? The short answer is….no. Public Works Director DJ Welsh with the reason why:
The city is dong significant work on the streets fixing potholes. Crews, as of a week ago, have fixed 680 potholes. If you know of a pesky pothole you think needs attention, in Ottawa call the streets division at 785-229-3656, or out in the county, call Franklin County Public Works at 785-229-3550.
