Tragedy in Homewood yesterday, April 9th. Just after 6:00 yesterday morning, Franklin County Sheriff deputies along with personnel from the Franklin County EMS and LOH Fire Department were dispatched to the Homewood RV Park for a report of an infant who was not breathing. Life saving efforts were administered by the family prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. EMS assumed all life saving efforts however, despite all their efforts, the 2-month-old child was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The death is actively being investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Detectives along with members of the Crime Scene Unit. Officials emphasize that there is no foul play suspected.
