Franklin County just received the results of a housing study, and to no one’s surprise, it found that the county, as a whole, needs housing, of all kinds. We all knew that. Franklin County Development Council Director, Paul Bean, says the study did a focal view on Ottawa and Wellsville as well as county wid. We’re going to need 893 new houses…
Bean says that one surprising point the study brought out was that Franklin County is in very short supply of upper end houses, $450,000 dollars and up. He also says the need for 893 homes also reflects that people will want to live here, but, not work here.
