With the sale of Proximity Park to Lightfield Energy, many people are wondering how the city could put millions of dollars into the park and only sell it for $5 million, less than a third of what has been put into it. At a recent City Commission meeting, City Attorney, Blaine Finch, went in depth about the history of economic development in Ottawa and Proximity Park.
