
Jeff Brewer, News Director at KOFO, was talking to a neighbor recently and he said that he and his family were ready to move up in the housing market, not a big jump, but a jump up, out of low income housing and into a rental house or apartment. The problem was that there was nothing they deemed affordable. Everything was priced $1,200 to $1,500 a month and that was not in their affordable range. They were looking at the $800 to $1,000 range. Franklin County Development Council Director, Paul Bean, on what the results of a housing study say about that issue:
