The Franklin County Board of Commissioners will meet this morning at the County Annex Chambers. One of the items on the agenda will be the approval of the bid for the 2025 chip seal project to Vance Brothers for just over $1.1 million. Public Works Director Jeff Welton says there are changes coming to the program:
The commission will also vote an approval of rezoning approximately 13 acres of land from a-1 agriculture district to the r-e residential estate district. Planning and Building Director, Pat Toth will lead the discussion. The meeting will be at 8:30 this morning, May 7th, and will be live streamed on the Franklin County Kansas facebook page and be available later for viewing.
