The Ottawa High School seniors had a busy day yesterday, May 12th. It was their last day of class in the USD 290 Public schools. However, today, one last day of special events. One of the biggest things they do is the Senior Pride Stride. OHS Principal Kelly Whitaker tells us more about it:
The kids line the halls cheering them on, as Pomp and Circumstance plays on the speaker. If you watch the videos later on social media, there are some emotional moments as some of the seniors see their elementary teachers, possibly for the first time since leaving the school. The seniors are gearing up for graduation, which will be Saturday evening, May 17th, at 7:00 at Steve Grogan Stadium.
