The Osawatomie High School Alumni Association has organized the 129th high school reunion to take place Saturday, May 24th. The 50-year class of 1975 will be honored.
Alumni activities include a parade through downtown at 10:00 Saturday morning, followed by an afternoon tea social at the Osawatomie High School cafeteria from 2:00 to 4:00 a banquet at the high school gym from 6:00-8:00 p, and a dance downtown from 9:00 to midnight. The street dance is set to take place outdoors, weather permitting, between fifth and sixth streets, but, the forecast doesn’t look promising.
Banquet tickets are $20 if purchased ahead of time and $25 at the door, and dance tickets are $5. Tickets can be picked up at Donna & Viola’s Shirts until noon on Saturday.
Come join the fun as the alumni of Osawatomie High get together for the 129th time. Who will be the alum who travels the furthest to attend this year? Who will be the oldest alum at the reunion? The only way to find out will be to attend, the reunion event on Saturday. Fun for all.
