Both the Franklin County Commission and the Ottawa City Commission have approved a funding package for producing commercials with Fox 4 to air this summer, promoting the City of Ottawa and the county as a whole. It is part of the Fox 4 Zip Trip Promotion. Ottawa Main Street Director, Sarah Stauffer, explained what the Zip Trips are:
The entire package comes to a little over $23,000 with the city and county bot chipping in $8,000, the Chamber of Commerce with $2,000 and the resp split between the 18 businesses participating.
Fox 4 will be in town on July 25th and they will have crews in Ottawa filming commercials as early as next week.
