An accident on I-35 Saturday night, May 24th, sent a Rantoul man to the hospital. Just before 9:00 that night, Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies and Franklin County EMS were called to the scene in the 3800 block of I-35 on reports of an injury accident. Once on scene, they discovered that a motorcycle, driven by 52-year-old Bill Clancy, of Rantoul had left the roadway to the right, striking a ditch. Clancy was transported by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries he received in the crash. No word on his condition at this time.
