The Franklin County Emergency Medical Service, or EMS, runs a huge number of calls every year, from sick calls, to falls, accidents, transfers, and much more. EMS Director, Christi Hilliker, says last year was a record setting year in volume of calls and talks about the busiest day of the week:
Yesterday was busy, between 5:00 in the morning and 2:30 in the afternoon, Franklin County EMS ran 12 calls, and there were probably a few more after that time. Want to see an ambulance? Stop by the EMS station on 13th Street, and they’ll be happy to show you around and give you a tour of one of their ambulances.
