The Ottawa City Commission will meet tonight, June 4, to discuss a variety of items. One item on the agenda is a presentation from Utilities Director, Scott Snethen, about a project to update and replace the river crossing structures. City Manager Brian Silcott explains the project:
The river crossing circuits were identified in 2023 as the most critical feature feeding electricity to the north side of town, and they were built nearly 80 years ago. The commission meeting is at 7:00 tonight at City Hall and will be live streamed on the City of Ottawa facebook page and youtube channel.
