USD 265, Anderson County, will head into the November 2025 election with two of its three board seats unfilled, after the election filing deadline passed recently. USD 365 will elect board positions 4, 5 and 6 this year, however, only incumbent Gina Witherspoon filed to retain her seat in position 6. Incumbents in positions 4-Michael Richards, and 5-Sonya Martin, did not seek re-election and no other filings were made for those posts. The vacancies will be filled by write in votes as long as the write-in winner resides in the position’s district. Otherwise, seated board members will have to appoint someone to fill the vacancy after the election.
