Miami County Sheriff Deputies were busy over the weekend. Just before 4:00 Sunday morning, June 22nd the Sheriff’s office received a report of a vehicle theft and serious injury near 69 Highway and 232nd Street. Deputies arrived on scene and located a hispanic male with a head injury. Investigation revealed that a vehicle had broken down on 69 Highway at 232nd street and the occupant called a family member for assistance. The family member arrived in a 2004 black GMC Envoy and was providing help, when a white male suspect approached and stole the GMC.
