One of the City of Ottawa’s community partners is the Elizabeth Layton Center. At a presentation last week, where commissioner head from various partners, a representative of the ELC told the commission that the need for mental health services in Ottawa is very high and continues to grow, as they served more people in 2024 than ever before, over 4,400 individuals.
The Elizabeth Layton Center asked for $7,807 for the upcoming year. More discussion about funding for community partners is expected at tomorrow meeting.
