The Franklin County EMS Department plays a crucial role in the lives of all citizens, but, like all departments, it relies on revenue to keep afloat. Many think the ambulance service is free, a service provided by the county, but, if you have ever had to take a ride in and ambulance, you know, there is cost involved. Franklin County EMS ran a record number of calls in 2024, over 4,000. The majority of those calls were for sick people or falls.
