The Franklin County Commission will meet this morning, July 2, and the agenda is fairly light. Commissioners will hear an update from the Frontier District Extension Office from District Director Rebecca McFarland. The board will consider the approval of the replacement of the existing bullpen at the transfer station. The bull pen helps prevent trash from blowing from the loaded trailers. It’s estimated to cost just over $60,000.

Next, they will consider for approval entering into a renewed employment agreement with Jamie Wilson for services as Franklin County Appraiser and then consider for approval neighborhood revitalizations properties, five of which are new residential builds and six others to be remodeled. The meeting is at 8:30 this morning at the County Annex and will be streamed live on the Franklin County Kansas youtube channel.
