Is the City of Rantoul thinking about expanding, nearly doubling in size, land mass wise? At the end of the Franklin County Commission Meeting yesterday, July 23rd, Commissioner Don Stottlemire said he had been hearing things from city officials and offered this:
Dodson Aviation, just outside of Rantoul on Vermont Road, maintains a 200 acre complex with a 200,000 square foot building. The aviation center covers an additional 1,192 acres and includes two asphalt runways.
