The City of Ottawa is asking for your input on a very important topic. Taxes. However, this tax is a one cent sales tax that was implemented in 2015. A half cent for economic development, a half cent for core services. On a social media post, they pose the question to citizens on if they want to see that tax renewed, and, if so, how do they want the city to use the money collected.
That survey is available now. You can find the link on the City of Ottawa’s facebook page, or KOFO’s facebook page. The deadline to take the survey is one week from today, August 6th.
