With the City of Ottawa making it easier and less expensive for housing developers to apply for Rural housing Incentive District status, the question was asked if and when the changes would affect a developer. Commissioner Eric Crowley says it could have already, if the new policy had been in place a year ago. He referred to a man, George Ogle, who addressed the commission a week ago about the topic:
The commission wants to let developers know that the process to get approved is going to move smoother for them.
