When thieves struck Victory Chevrolet on June 15th, crashing through the window at the dealership and stealing a special edition Dodge Challenger and leading police on a chase down I-35, nobody really expected to see the car again, but the car was returned to the dealership recently, however, is was professionally gutted.
Victory Dodge says that nearly everything of value was stripped from the car, including it’s fuses, the engine, transmission, fuel tank, seats, headliner, carpet, dashboard and more. Victory says insurance would cover the cost of the damage, but they still had to pay a large deductible and have to pay for the doors and glass that was broken during the theft.
The chase on I-35 was ended by the Wellsville Police Department when the vehicle fled into Kansas City, Missouri. You can see a picture of the Hellcat and the condition it was returned in, on KOFO’s facebook page.
