Out of over 60,000 applicants, twenty six University of Kansas students have been selected for the 2025 Millennium Fellowship, a leadership development program overseen by the Millennium Campus Network in partnership with United Nations Academic Impact. One of those chosen… is from Ottawa. Lexie Huske, is a senior in Global and International Studies and Religious Studies.
The Millennium Fellowship at KU is a semester-long program that develops undergraduate leaders through training and community projects focused on the United Nations’ sustainable development goals and academic impact principles. The program provides world-class leadership training, fosters connections with a global network of peers, and supports student-led initiatives that advance social impact within the community. Fellows develop action plans and share best practices for their social impact projects, ultimately aiming to make the United Nations goals a reality. Congratulations Lexie!
