In November, Ottawans will elect three city commissioners. One of the candidates vying for a seat on the commission is Tim Van Leiden. One of his strong feelings is that we have to find a way to control property taxes that seem to be going up and up. He also would like people to be present at the local budget and revenue neutral meetings:
