The West Franklin USD 287 School Board held their Revenue Neutral Hearing recently and Superintendent Matt Brenzikofer says the mill levy went up slightly, to account for special education cost increases.
According to the Kansas Policy Institute, about 50% of cities, counties, and school districts in Kansas did not exceed revenue neutral for their upcoming budgets.
