The Franklin County Transfer Station is always trying to make improvements. They had a door installed earlier this year that had been needed for quite some time. Now, they are looking at improving the bullpen area. That’s the area that when the trucks come up, a tarp is rolled out to contain the trash before they haul it off, but, it was too small. Public Works Director Jeff Welton says thanks to solid waste director Peg Pearson, the problem may be solved:
