Do your kids need the flu vaccine? The Franklin County Health Department is hosting several drive- through clinics this week and next. Today, October 7th, they will be in Pomona at West Franklin High school from 4″00 to 5:00. Tomorrow, October 8th, they visit wellsville and they are doing a bonus visit to the Wellsville schools. They will be at the elementary school from 1:00-2:00 and the middle school/high school from 2:00-3:00. These clinics are open to both staff and students. They will also be doing a drive- thru flu vaccine clinic in the HS parking lot from 4:00-5:00. The HS parking lot is open to the public. Please bring a picture ID and your insurance card if you plan to be vaccinated at the drive-thru clinic.
Flu vaccine consent forms were sent home with elementary school students yesterday, October 6th. Make sure those get back to school if you would like your child to be vaccinated while at school. If you have any questions, call you child’s school.
