A fight among several juveniles in the 1100 block of North Sycamore Street recently led to two of the 17-year-old males being arrested. Ottawa Police say one of the teens threatened another withy a knife during an argument, which led to a fight. Once police were on scene, they were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody. The knife used in the threat was also recovered. He was booked into the juvenile intake facility on charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, possession of tobacco by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, and battery.
The case was referred to the Franklin County Attorney’s office and Ottawa Police Captain J. W. Hawkins says what the county attorney actually charges may be different.
