One of the Franklin County EMS crews is stationed in Wellsville, with two other crews on duty in Ottawa. Occasionally both ambulances in Ottawa are called out of Ottawa on emergency calls. When that happens, the Wellsville crew does what’s referred to as a move-up. That protocol is changing a little bit. EMS Director Christi Hilliker:
The Tennessee Road location makes it easy to go any direction to any emergency within the county. The change in move-up policy started this past weekend.
