The Ottawa City Commission has cancelled their meeting today, but in its place is a chance for the public to get some answers about the one cent sales tax renewal that is on the ballot in the upcoming general election. City Manager Brian Silcott goes over some of the ways the sales tax has benefitted the city in the fire and police departments alone:
The meeting will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 at City Hall. If you have any questions, please attend and hear from city officials on how the sales tax can continue to benefit the Ottawa community.
