A sad day in the NFL. Yesterday, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland died from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. According to Frisco, Texas police, the department responded to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety with locating a vehicle that evaded troopers during a pursuit that entered the city. Troopers found the vehicle, crashed and noone was with the vehicle. Reports started coming in that he was sending text messages to family, telling them goodby and they were concerned for his welfare. He was later found dead.
Kneeland had just scored his first career touchdown last Sunday, November 2nd. As an NFL player, he had it made, right? Stop there….no one knows what is going on in other people’s minds. No one knows what circumstances led to his decision to take his own life.
