The West Franklin junior class is hosting what is billed as the “craziest sport around”, definitely in Pomona. Wilder than a rodeo, funnier than a circus. The sport in question? Donkey Basketball, happening tomorrow night at the school. Junior class President, Greely McMahan tells us about the teams and who will be playing.
The Donkey Basketball event is a major fundraiser for the West Franklin prom and the senior trip. Bring the family and come see students, staff, and community members as they ride live donkeys, rough and tough and hard to bluff, and even harder to ride. Described as 500 pounds of pure dynamite.
