Have you ever wondered what you would do if there was an active shooter in the building you were in or event you were attending? The Ottawa Police Department is hosting a free presentation called “Citizen Response To Active Threat” it will be held tonight at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium. Ottawa Police Chief, Adam Weingartner, says it will be full of information to help you respond to and survive an active threat incident.
If you would like to know more about learning how you and your neighbors can respond to an active shooter event, you really need to attend this presentation. We all think…we live in small town, that’s not going to happen here. But, it very well could happen and the Ottawa Police want everyone to know what to expect and how to react if a situation like an active shooter arises. No tickets or reservations needed. The presentation will be held at the OMA tonight, November 17th at 6:30.
