This past July, Ottawa was privileged to be featured on the Fox 4 Zip Trip. The morning news crew was in town doing the newscast live from Ottawa, and encouraging people to visit the city. The positive effects from the Zip Rrip are carrying over still today. Ottawa Main Street Director, Sara Stauffer:
Ottawa was one of only two cities in Kansas chosen for the Zip Trip. Fox 4 promoted the city with a series of commercials during the morning news for over a month.
